Landlord Tenant Law
Landlord Tenant Law is such an important part of our state code that it is treated
with special expediency. The procedural rules are abbreviated to help the landlord get
disposition promptly but the case law requires that the courts use a fine tooth comb to
try and give advantage to the tenants. Attorney’s fees can be awarded to the winning side
in contrast to most civil actions in this nation. Navigating these unique laws is not
simplified by the courts when a party attempts to represent themselves. Pro se laymen
are held to the same technical requirements as any attorney is. Mistakes will be found
and exploited and this can cost either side a great deal of time, money and rightful
possession of the property.
The Law Office of Rob Trickler makes Landlord Tenant Law a mainstay of its overall practice.
In August of 2007 we invited Victor Haglund to join us in an office share relationship. Victor
brings nearly six decades of experience in Landlord Tenant Law and Real Estate matters to the table.
This direct passing of irreplaceable experience insures that this office is in a superior position
to give clients the best representation possible. We can help with current or pending actions as
well has examine and advise or create related legal documents to avoid future pitfalls.
